About the Job

We are looking for top-notch senior mobile application development engineers. We are building best in class mobile web applications and APIs and are looking for talented developers who have have mastered Java/J2EE, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We seek developers who have a passion for creating the best user experience possible and a deep understanding of the browser's DOM and understanding the difference between the various browsers.

Responsibilities

Design and write code for mobile web HTML5 AJAX applications that scale to high-volume production quality.
Engineer a world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving.
Prototype creative solutions quickly, and be able to collaborate with others in crafting and implementing your technical vision.
Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with existing technologies and infrastructure.
Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation.
R&D in emerging technologies.
Strong Java, J2EE, spring, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, & JSON skills for implementing web technologies.
Solid understanding of multithreaded software design.
Solid understanding of the AJAX and spring frameworks.
Understanding of Ext JS, Sencha Touch (experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of server side design patterns and continuous integration principles
Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies.
Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
6+ years experience working on Windows and Java platforms.
3+ years experience with AJAX and Spring frameworks.
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field only.

Desired Skills

6+ years experience with Java, J2EE.
2+ years experience working with "Ext JS" and "Sencha Touch".
Exposure to Open Source technologies (Symfony Framework, Memcached, AspectJ, Jersey… etc).
Exposure to (Agile) software development.
Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL.
